Shopian Killings: Can We Believe the Army Narrative?
The questionable sequence of events makes it clear that there is a need for investigation.
A second incident of army firing occurred in Shopian district of Kashmir where six people lost their lives. While two were militants, the other four have been categorized under the confusing term of over-ground workers. Apart from the question of who an over-ground worker is, the sequence of events narrated by the army also raise a lot of doubts about what actually went down.
