Rohingya Refugee Camp at Nuh, Mewat in Ashes
A short circuit gutted Rohingya Refugee camp in Haryana, Mewat on Sunday afternoon.Almost 55 families are now homeless living under a make shift tent that the State Government of Haryana has provided. This settlement is near the Chandeni area and has been home to Rohingya refugees since 2012.
This is not the first Rohingya refugee camp that has been burnt down due to a short circuit. A month back a similar incident had taken place in New Delhi's Kalindi Kunj.
Is this just a coincidence or is there more to these fires? It has been three nights without any real help already for the homeless Rohingya refugees.
