On August 6, 2019, the Indian government passed a Bill in the Lok Sabha abrogating Article 370 of the Constitution, and bifurcating J&K into two union territories. While the world had a lot to say about this, those most affected by it – residents of Kashmir – were rendered silent as a complete communication blackout was implemented in the Valley and a few other areas since August 4. NewsClick spoke to Kashmiris living in Delhi about their struggles while contacting their family members and friends.
