Delhi: Protest Against Demolition of Houses Without Rehabilitation in Tughlaqabad
On April 30, eviction fell upon the people living in Delhi's Tughlakabad village for years. The administration has demolished about 1000 houses of poor laborers by DDA and Archaeological Survey of India with the help of 18 bulldozers. Since then thousands of families are forced to live on the streets under the open sky during the rain. The victims protested at Jantar Mantar against this inhuman vandalism and demanding proper rehabilitation. Watch NewsClick's ground report:
