Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during an election campaign in Maharashtra, said that if they [hinting at Congress] have the courage, then they should clearly state in their manifesto that they will reimpose Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Maharashtra is suffering from drought and has witnessed many suicides by farmers; yet, PM chose not to address these issues and instead, talked about Article 370. This shows that for BJP, Article 370 is just an election gimmick.
