Work From Home Exploit IT Employees More
The recent quarterly reports of the major IT companies don't show any major decline in their profit margin during the lockdown. In fact, productivity has increased. More than 70% of the employees from most of the companies have been working from home. Their workload and stress have increased, but welfare measures have been diluted. Women are the worst affected in the 'work from home' scenario since many are taking care of their household activities as well. IT employees speak to NewsClick about their issues.
