Widows of Farmers at Kisan Sansad: Modi Govt Has to Answer to Us
The second day of Kisan Sansad saw around a lakh of farmers and their families gathered today at the Parliament street, asking the government to compensate them against their huge loans. Newsclick spoke to the widows of the farmers who have committed suicide. They have left behind huge amounts of loans unpaid, which their family members are now finding it hard to cope with.
