Weapons Seized From RSS Office in Thiruvanathapuram

While conducting raids on the backdrop of bomb attack on the Nedumangad police station during the hartal that was observed on January 3, Kerala police have seized weapons from the RSS office in Nedumangad on Wednesday.
The seized weapons include daggers, scythes and hydrogen peroxide, a chemical substance that use to make crude bombs, from the spot. The police have also found evidence of Praveen, the one who was accused in the bombing case, using the office as a hideout.
On January 3 during hartal, four bombs were hurled at the Nedumangad police station. The officials who ran out of the state survived the attack. Later, the media had retrieved CCTV footage of Praveen hurling bombs at the police station. However, Praveen is absconding and one another Vishnu who tried to help Praveen was arrested.
Following the hartal violence, the police have arrested several protesters including the BJP Nedumangad area president in connection with the hartal violence. At Aanad, near Nedumangad, police officers have been attacked by a group of BJP activists. Several have been arrested in this connection also.
