Following the Supreme Court order, the 15 MLAs of Congress and Janata Dal United (Secular) in Karnataka – who were involved in the attempt to make their own government fall – have been relieved. They’ve been given the freedom to be absent or present during the vote of confidence, which means that they are not obliged to obey their party leaders’ direction.
