SC Gave Verdict, but Didn't Share our Pain: Yousuf Tarigami
In this interview, Mohd Yousuf Tarigami, CPI(M) central committee member and former MLA from Kashmir, expresses his deep disappointment with the Supreme Court's verdict on petitions questioning the validity of revoking Article 370 with respect to Jammu and Kashmir, and splitting the former state into two Union Territories. He says the 'promise' to hold elections will not assuage the feelings of the people of Jammu, Kashmir or Ladakh. They feel shattered by the verdict, and they will only say the Centre imposed Delhi's will on them--as it always has.
