The New NPR of 2020 has No Benefit for Refugees : Deb Mukharji
Deb Mukharji, former Indian ambassador said that the “words of Home Minister and PM differ. The new NPR of 2020 is not the preceding one. This has a connection to our parents. This is not about refugees. Or Hindus and Muslims. This is to create laws that can be held against the Muslims of this country.”
He also added that we must take into consideration the enormous human cost that was involved in carrying out NRC in Assam alone, before we think of implementing it to the rest of the country.
