Vaccination against Covid-19 in India has got a booster shot with the emergency use authorisation of Zydus Cadila’s three- dose ZyCoV-D vaccine among children above 12 years of age. Zydus claims that ZyCov-D, the first Covid-19 vaccine built on a DNA platform, doesn’t have problems associated with vector- based immunity.
