On June 25, 2025, thousands of workers, street vendors, e-rickshaw drivers and slum dwellers came together in large numbers and took to the streets at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the demolition drive in the Capital city. They submitted a letter to the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Housing demanding concrete policy changes for the right to employment, rehabilitation and dignified life.
