The workers and vulnerable sections of the society have been subjected to an unprecedented crisis during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. While the rich have had arrangements being made to transport them within the country and from abroad, the working class faced the strictest restrictions. While some lost their lives due to tiredness from walking long distances, a few came under the trains and others died fighting hunger. Not only that, there is a constant attack on the hard-earned rights of workers. The country is returning to the period of slavery.
