Is the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) falling between two stools? It seems so, going by what BJP leader and parliamentary affairs minister minister Pralhad Joshi, while attacking Rahul Gandhi for his speech in the US, said. He said Gandhi had no knowledge of history and that “Indians are proud of their country’s history”.

Now, which history was Joshi talking about? The one before 2014 (when Narendra Modi came to power at the Centre) or the one after that, which the BJP government is hell bent on eliminating from school and college textbooks?
