Attempts to Create Communal Tensions in Delhi by Akhand Bharat Morcha
The Hindutva outfit Akhand Bharat Morcha took out bike rallies in East Delhi to mark Hanuman Jayanti; raising anti-Muslim slogans and waving swords in front of at least four mosques. While members of the rally shouted hateful slogans, the Muslim locals restrained the youth from retaliating to avoid escalating tensions and violence. The locals reiterated time and again that different communities have always lived in harmony with each other, and they did not harbour any resentment towards each other.
