Why Discriminate People During COVID-19 Crisis?
There have been several reports about the desperate conditions of migrant workers due to the COVID-19 lockdown over the past few days. While a section of the mainstream media was busy communalising the migrant workers who had poured out on the streets of Mumbai's Bandra on April 14, hundreds of migrant workers in Surat were demanding to be taken home. Despite this, the Home Ministry, in a latest notice, has ordered that the state governments should not give relaxations for the travelling of migrant workers as part of the graded relaxation of lockdown measures.
