JNU Demands Valentine Break Up with the VC
Compulsory attendance is antithetical to the ideals of the University and learning in general.
Over 7,000 students of the Jawaharlal Nehru University have been collectively boycotting the compulsory attendance system imposed in the varsity. Teachers claim that the system was imposed by the administration without any constructive debate in Academic Council meetings. Students and teachers of the varsity are coming out in large numbers to protest and demand the resignation of VC Jagadesh Kumar.
