'Governor Acting Against Constitution and Federalism' - K Balakrishnan
The Tamil Nadu assembly recently passed a resolution to have a timeframe for the governor to approve the bills passed by the state assembly. Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan supported Tamil Nadu's move. Many other non-BJP ruling states are also facing hurdles from their respective Governors. The ruling alliance, including a national party like the CPI(M), has been protesting against the governor in Tamil Nadu for quite some time.
