The first national convention of the IT employees associated with the trade union was held in Chennai on February 10, under the banner of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU). Delegates from six states, where most of the IT companies in India are predominantly concentrated, participated in the convention. The delegates discussed the issues they are facing in the industry and the challenges ahead of them.
