'Do or Die Situation', Say MSME Entrepreneurs
For the first time in India, more than 10 lakh entrepreneurs of Micro, Medium and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) went on a one-day strike on December 20, 2021 against the steep increase in raw materials prices. Around 170 organisations from the sector participated in the strike. After facing severe setbacks due to demonetisation, hasty implementation of GST and the ill-conceived COVID-19 lockdown, the MSMEs are struggling from increased production costs.
