Dilli 6: A Library Opens When the City Sleeps
Delhi 6, or the walled city is very well known by many for its food and culture, but in this video let us take a look at a lesser known part of the city. Senior Journalist Bhasha Singh takes us through the bustling lanes of old Delhi to visit a unique library, run by a self funded organisation called the Delhi Youth Welfare Association. Shah Walliullah Library opens it doors at 9:30 at night and welcomes those who are looking for a good break after a long day of work. Over the years, this library has become not just a space for people to come and read or borrow books, but a centre of debate, discussion and community bonding.
