Cartoon Click: G20 is here...Quick! Hide the Poor
The G20 summit begins in New Delhi today; the international guests will see a curated misleading reality of India. They will see the traditional song-dance, traffic-free roads, rows and rows of flower pots on pavements, and of course, will eat from the chandi ki thaali.
They won't have to see the slums where the Indian working class lives - if we can call it that! They won't see the footpaths where the poor sleep at night after a hard day's work, probably on an empty or half-full stomach. All have been hidden behind a green veil.
The world talks about virtual reality, but behold Modi ji gives you a curated one!
