Violence continues against the Dalits in Uttar Pradesh. Recently in Saharanpur, Dalit women and men were brutally beaten by both the Upper Caste Thakurs and the police. While the Dalits were brutally beaten up, the government gave compensation to the Thakurs. It is clear where the right-wing government’s allegiance lies.
