A G Noorani, legendary scholar and constitutional expert who wrote and spoke passionately on issues that plague India, be it Partition, communalism, the state of Muslims, Kashmir, the role of RSS, passed away at the age of 94 on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
In the 12th Dr. Asghar Ali Engineer Memorial Lecture organised by Centre for Study of Society and Secularism, A. G. Noorani, leading Constitutional Expert, spoke about the condition of Muslims in our country. He said that the muslims in India are in a much worse condition than they were in 1857.
